BUTTERMILK SYRUP


 BUTTERMILK SYRUP     Karlee Lemon

1 cup sugar
1/2 cube butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 Tbs. corn syrup
 
Heat sugar, buttermilk and butter in saucepan over medium heat.
Boil for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanila

Remove from heat –
Add 1 tsp. Baking Soda and 1 tsp vanilla and stir
(Use large pan to prevent bubbling over)
optional: add 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
 
*Buttermilk substitute: 1 Tbs. vinegar and milk to make 1 cup
