Home Bottled ROOT BEER (A family tradition)
mix together:
1 bottle root beer extract
10 cups sugar (
5 lb)
4 1/2 to 5gal water
2 tsp yeast (1
pkg)
(55 bottles)
Cap and set bottles on their side in box or basket.
Cover for 3
days- then refrigerate
Use within one week- or they could blow their tops!
