PIZZA DOUGH
2 cups water
1/4 c. dry yeast
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
5 Tbs melted butter
5 1/2 cups flour
Mix and let set 15 minutes before rolling out
BREAD STICKS
5 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbs. yeast
2 Tbs. powdered milk
2 cups warm water
4 Tbs. melted butter
Measure and mix 4 cups flour, salt, yeast and sugar and powdered milk into Bosch mixer.
Turn mixer to low and add warm water and butter. While mixing add final 1 1/2 cups flour.
Let mix for 7-8 minutes. Remove dough hook and let dough rest 15-20 minutes in mixing bowl.
Remove dough and place onto lightly floured board or counter. Divide in half.
Spread each half with hands or roll out into large rectangle onto a greased sheet cake pan.
Cut in half lengthwise then cut individual bread sticks with pizza cutter.
Each pan makes approx 20 short bread sticks.
Let rise until double (about 20-25 min)
Bake in preheated oven @ 425 degrees 7-8 minutes. Brush with butter/garlic and serve.
