Peanut Butter Blossoms

PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOMS        Whitney Bleazard

1 cup butter or shortening

1 cup peanut butter- creamy

1 cup sugar                1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs                        4 Tbs. Milk

2 tsp. vanilla               2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

3  cups flour (or enough when rolling into balls- they are not sticky but hold together in a ball)

*Cream together shortening, peanut butter & sugars, beat in eggs., milk & vanilla.

Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

roll into balls- roll in sugar.

Bake 6 minutes at 375°  After 6 min. press Hershey kiss on top.  Return to oven for 1 to 2 minutes.
Makes approx 4 dz small cookies
