HOLIDAY CRUNCH

HOLIDAY CRUNCH   our favorite Holiday snack

2 cups butter
1 1/2    c sugar
1 1/2  c Karo syrup
1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
 Boil 3 minutes and pour over the following:
 
1/2 lb. Sliced Almonds
1 lb coconut or 1/2 lb. wide (at Health Food Store)
1 lg box rice chex (family size or approx 20 oz)
1 lg box golden grahams (family size or approx 20 oz)

Stir syrup into cereal mix to coat well.  Pour onto 3-4 cookie sheets
to let set for a few hours.
